It’s been a crazy week in our little towns. So let’s take a moment to smell the flowers, like this guy below. He was just about to take a bite of these petunias when he detected human movement and froze.
Get by soon to enjoy the stunning display before he and his metal buddies devour them all. Approach slowly on whisper feet, and you just might catch him in the act.

Flash flood shocks Kittredge and Evergreen

While Thursdays are typically newsletter day, a little thing called a flood happened. We’ve spent all day working on this story, and will continue to do so next week.

Mitchell and her staff were working to divert initial flood water when the lake overflowed the spillway, creating a monstrous surge that made Cactus Jack’s a temporary island.
Evergreen parade & rodeo ‘best ever’
